Are you someone who has experience in:

• To perform the daily administrative tasks relating to the management of software and technology-related hardware within the organization. This includes monitoring and recording software licenses and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts. Assist in monitoring business unit compliance to approved Desktop Optimisation standards, strategies and practices, administration of the central asset management system and allocation of software licenses across FNB.
• Flexera knowledge is key

Key Responsibilities: 

• Experience on Flexera software is key
• Assist in monitoring trends in company spending and inventory control in order to make recommendations for the future, and to identify areas for possible savings and/or asset optimization
• Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through  proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
• Investigate and resolve exceptions and accuracy issues of the CMS repository.
• Administration of IT Asset Management systems, including Software License Bank by entering all software and hardware serial numbers or identification tags into configuration management system (CMS) and ensure information is up-to-date, accurate and auditable
• Assist in software asset reconciliation and audit activities on a timely basis, including financial, licensing, warranty, and maintenance/support contract information to support with identifying and reporting on regulatory Compliance and Risk
• Perform inventories and usage monitoring of all IT assets and record all findings, changes, physical location, and incidences of support.
• Monitor supplier and outsourcer guidelines, obligations, and service level agreements to the organization by tracking and maintaining copies of software licenses, warranties, maintenance agreements, and vendor contracts and compare warranties, maintenance agreements and vendor contracts to assist with asset upkeep, upgrades, repair, and replacement.
• Assist in generation and distribution relevant management reports
• Manage own development to increase own competencies
