Management and delivery of integrated IT audits (ITGC’s, ACR’s, Interface audits, Cyber Security aspects) across a diverse client base.
Assisting and reporting to the specialist senior manager and/or directors of these jobs.
Ensuring that the firm’s policies and values are adhered to.
Managing project time and costs to avoid overruns and timely billing.
Managing the audit engagement team for these clients.
Providing on-the-job training and performing engagement reviews.
Preparing and submitting proposals and related submissions.
Mentoring a team of personnel within Digitech Assurance.
Job Description:
Assist with risk identification and audit planning of IT areas applicable to client operations.
Undertake project planning, execution, and management of Information technology audits such as – IT General Controls, IT Applications Controls, Data Analytics, ERPs, and occasionally IT security reviews etc.
Perform security configurations reviews on network devices (firewalls, routers, and switches, IDS /IPS etc.), databases (Oracle, SQL, Sybase, Informix etc.) and operating systems (windows, Unix, Linux etc.)
Assess and assemble resources as necessary for audits of clients.
Assist in ensuring that audits are undertaken in an integrated fashion with other auditors on the assignment.
Perform system descriptions documentation.
Perform the risk and control identification.
Prepare audit planning memorandum, audit programs, and undertake execution.
Prepare, issue and present reports to management.
Train and develop junior staff members on IT/security audits.
Facilitate engagements pertaining to specialized audit or technical areas within area of responsibility and ensure that all the relevant internal and external stakeholders are involved.
General project administration and file management.
Ensure the audit plan is executed on time and per approved timelines.
Ensure all IT work is delivered with the right quality.
Qualification:
B Com, B BSc degree / BTech in IT or an equivalent qualification.
CISA, CGEIT, CISM, CIPP, CRISC, CISSP or CA (SA) professional qual– possession of any of these qualifications will be an added advantage.
Experience:
At least 7 or more years of working experience in IT Auditing across all disciplines.
Risk Management experience
Other Skills:
Exposure to ERP systems, Cybersecurity skills and Data analytics will be an advantage.
