IT Business Partner at Danone

Business partnering with senior stakeholders to become a trusted, strategic partner that drives impactful transformation and growth as well as supporting day to day IT service delivery and innovation.
Drives a culture of creativity, innovation, collaboration and shared ownership across the business, and produces strategies that deliver their intended business value results.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Co-build IT strategic plans in line with each of the business functions.
• Anticipate the business need, understand the business complexity and drive and deliver impactful solutions with the IT team.
• Working in close coordination with the Regional Head for overall IT strategy planning and execution.
• Ensuring alignment of IT service delivery with business strategy by animating the road map and master plan processes. Delivery of this roadmap through partnering with various internal IT teams and external vendors.
• Work with senior leaders to evolve culture and organizational behaviour, elevating IT into a strategic partner.
• Proactively develop and build robust relationships with key stakeholders within the business at a Senior Leadership level
• Develop deep knowledge of the business and build both horizontal and vertical relationships with business and IT leaders that deliver business impact.
• Coach business partners and enable them to articulate the technology needs and requirements in their function that will advance business performance.
• Improving end to end user experience across all IT initiatives.
• Act as the principal technology advisor and a champion for identifying, leading and driving information technology transformation.
• Ensure that the business's strategy and key performance indicators are identified and leveraged for effective IT demand shaping.
• Partner with business and IT leaders to evaluate proposals, build business cases, and plan new joint initiatives, and determine how they fit into business capability roadmaps and priorities.
• Partner with business analysts to ensure that essential business requirements are understood, captured, delivered and reflected in solution documentation.
• Partner with business transformation or change management teams to ensure that the business unit or function has the capacity and capabilities to implement changes required by new technology solutions.
• Ensure delivery of new technology solutions and capabilities in accordance with the roadmap and ensure that they meet established objectives and expectations of business partners.
• Share ownership of the business value results of technology related projects, measure and communicate business value results on a regular basis.
• Bring outside-in or fresh perspectives into the organization by routinely meeting with end customers/consumers, industry peers, and other external sources.
• Benchmarking against local players and global best practices in order to Pro-actively look for collaboration on IT initiatives and leveraging existing assets.
• Ensure continuous improvement in value optimization, IT performance, and business processes where applicable.
• Advocate for and advance business partners' knowledge of IT processes, frameworks, roles, and capabilities.
• Build IT equity through effective and impactful communication of IT deliverables and achievements
• Continuous review of IT portfolio by ensuring value delivery.
• Understanding cost drivers, forecasting and management of IT Budget and governance.
• Identifying opportunities to reset the cost of base (finding savings and efficiencies)
• Ensuring IT function complies with internal controls, governance and existing laws and regulations (including data privacy and related regulatory requirements).
• Accountable for projects being delivered on time, within budget and meeting the quality standards.
• Manage IT maintenance and support for all applications and infrastructure.
• Oversee the execution of all IT projects in the scope.

Minimum Qualifications And Skills

• IT/IS Degree or equivalent
• PMP and PSM project management
• MBA is preferred
• A minimum of 8 - 10 years' experience in information technology. FMCG industry would be advantageous.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects based on organizational objectives.
• At least 3 years in a management position with exposure to Executive business partnering.
• Demonstrated track record of creating technology solutions to solve business problems (globally, or across multiple divisions or regions within a single company).
• Knowledge of data intelligence capabilities
• Ability to manage and navigate a complex matrix & virtual organisation
• Ability to build, coach/mentor and lead high performing teams.
• Extensive Project management and strong Portfolio management experience.
• Application life cycle experience (requirements, specifications, development, testing, deployment)
• Experience required on Agile discipline / frameworks
• Experience with IT budget planning and budget maintenance required.
• Demonstrated acumen and passion for business and technology.
• Change catalyst, Exceptional ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods.
• A strategic thinker focused on business value results that utilize technical solutions.
