    IT Business Support Analyst - Lesotho

    Job Description    
    Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) has an exciting opportunity in our IT department. We are looking for talented individuals with relevant skills and experience for a IT Business Support Analyst role, which is based in Lesotho. The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Manager. 

    Key Purpose Statement

    Responsible for meeting the IT support needs of all users as they relate to the applications used, directly or indirectly, for collecting, maintaining, and managing the data and databases.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • The IT Business Support Analyst oversees a number of key functions within the IT department that enable the delivery of a high-quality service to end users, and to ensure Service Support and Service Delivery processes are in place to meet business needs.
    • The work experience of a Business Support Specialist includes managing the company’s business channels, supporting business process changes, developing reports and reporting systems, and collaborating with sales, masterdata, and finance counterparts.
    • Create and implement policies, procedures and standards for Information Technology and database management services.
    • Support operational excellence through implementation of processes that will integrate service delivery and elevate the levels of customer service from service providers.
    • Design and optimise sales reports to enable tracking against key business objectives, for the business, which informs key decisions relating to Sales performance.
    • Analyse and interpret information to enable the Sales teams to drive continuous improvement on their KPI’s.
    • Conduct targeted market impact studies to inform planning and increase sales volume.
    • Devise trackers to measure and monitor performance against incentives for all sales teams within the region.
    • Facilitate problem solving around IT or Business Systems related issues.
    • Provide technical application support.
    • Assist in the managing all IT services including but not limited to:
    • Managing an asset register with a record of all IT equipment.
    • Managing new requests and allocation of IT equipment.
    • Managing data and databases, reporting and insights

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Qualities and Skills Required:

    • Able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities
    • Good understanding of the business value chain
    • Good interpersonal skills and team player
    • Logical and analytical thinker, able to translate into practical business solutions
    • Ability to understand technical issues and how they impact on the business
    • A passion for Service Improvement
    • Service Support in a large-scale and diverse environment of incident management, escalation procedures and related disciplines
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
    • Self-motivation and able to take responsibility
    • Able to manage, prioritise tasks and time efficiently
    • Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Relevant IT qualification.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a Commercial environment.
    • Experience in Commercial analytics would be advantageous.

    Competencies

    Knowledge

    • Sound knowledge of business sales systems, including Margin Minder and Qlikview.
    • Business acumen.

    Skills

    • Advanced ability to work with Excel and Power Point and Databases
    • Strong problem-solving ability.
    • Strong analytical ability.
