ROLE PURPOSE
Develop, maintain and support a portfolio of software applications and services to ensure improved business efficiencies and that are aligned to the enterprise architecture and business strategy
REQUIREMENTS
Interns must have achieved a National Senior Certificate (Matric/Grade 12)
3 year degree or diploma in IT(I.e Computer Science; Informatics; etc) , ( majoring in Programming)
Only South African youth may be registered on an internship
Be aged between 18 and 35
Be unemployed
Previously disadvantaged candidates
RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK OUTPUTS
Ensure that the correct standards, disciplines and processes are followed.
Take accountability for the correct functioning of the key activities within this area as per agreed standards.
Take responsibility for all phases of testing activities within Retail IT
Assist the test manager with the implementation of performance testing
Assist the test manager with the implementation of security testing
Contribute to the organisational goals by ensuring that quality business systems are implemented through test automation
Establish and maintain an end-to-end test regression pack across development teams
Facilitating test automation across the Retail IT systems development life cycle
Manage effectiveness of testing processes
Help sustain and improve the existing testing framework
