    IT – Site Support Specialist - Rustenburg

    Job Summary 

    The incumbent in this role is responsible for managing and guiding resources required for first-level IT support, rolling out the support strategy and ensuring that high quality support services are provided to support business needs.

     Key Responsibilities

    • Managing site IT infrastructure.
    • Registering incidents, escalating, trend and root cause analysis and problem resolution.
    • Maintaining IT tasks, installing, configuring and trouble shooting of hardware and software.
    • Managing IT continuity.
    • Facilitating and governing the IT Projects on site.
    • Ensuring the IT Services address the changing business needs.
    • Developing and maintaining training plans for the site IT Teams as well as encouraging continuous learning.
    • Ensuring ongoing site compliance to Glencore IT policies, procedures and legislation.

     Minimum Qualifications

    • Relevant Degree.

    Minimum Experience

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the IT environment.
    • Understanding and working knowledge of IT Support Delivery.
