IT Support Engineer Tier 1 at Derivco

We are looking for an IT Engineer Level 1 who will be responsible for the deployment and support of complex applications. Our ideal candidate is someone with is a self-starter with a positive attitude. They must have solid troubleshooting skills, knowledge in SQL and Windows server.
Tech Stack (not Limited)

• TSSQL
• IIS
• Postman
• Windows Server
• Ansible

Responsibilities (not Limited)

• Ensures that deployments are completed timeously and without configuration error.
• Adheres to release management guidelines.
• Understands the scope or potential impact of deployment or support incident on various systems, and correctly involves other departments / customers as required.
• Takes ownership of issues and problems and ensures that these are followed up and resolved.
• Understands and complies with Derivco escalation procedures.
• Resolves incidents and escalations ensuring that all issues are followed up on and resolved within set KPIs.
• Exercises due diligence when working on environments, raising risks or concerns that affect systems health/performance.

Requirements

• IT Diploma or relevant qualification.
• IT experience and knowledge.
• Track record of continuous learning.
• Incident management.
