IT Support Technician at Triton Express (Pty) Ltd

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing local and remote branch IT services including but not limited to:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware and software systems, including operating systems, applications, and utilities
• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting server hardware and storage infrastructure
• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft Core infrastructure technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, Hybrid Microsoft 365 and Exchange 2019
• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting network infrastructure (LAN and WiFi)
• Collaborating with the IT team to implement and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls and antivirus software
• Maintaining and supporting VoIP systems
• Providing guidance and training to end-users on the effective use of technology resources and tools
• Liaising with contractors and vendors to design, implement and maintain technology solutions

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 Minimum
• Minimum 5 years IT related experience
• Related experience in the transport industry desired
• Relevant IT qualification

Training Certifications (Ideal):

• CompTIA A+
• Microsoft Administrator and System Architect role-based certifications advantageous
• Microsoft 365 Certified (Foundations)
