Responsible for enterprise service bus services focused on integration of operational and business support systems, providing integration service bus for front end to back-end applications as well as external third-party services. Define, develop and mapping of application interfaces to be exposed and consumed by internal and external systems.

Qualifications:

3 year Bachelors Degree or equivalent qualification (NQF level 6). Preferably IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering.

Experience:

• 5 years solid development experience as a developer using predominantly Java (Senior).
• Telecommunications experience advantageous.
• TM Forum API and Process understanding advantageous.
• Technical/ Systems design experience would be an advantage.

Special Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience of enterprise middleware technologies with specific focus on RedHat JBoss ESB.
• Proven track record of project delivery on Java based applications.
• Solid experience building and integrating applications.
• The ability to build applications within an enterprise environment.
• Understanding of software development cycles and quality assurance processes.
• Hands on experience in designing, developing and implementing applications using Java EE platforms.
• Custom module and API development.
• Great OO skills, including strong design patterns knowledge.
• Microservices development and container deployment experience.
• Experience in an Agile and Scrum environment.
