What will make you successful in this role?

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematical Statistics or related field

Deliverables include, but will not be limited to

• Data gathering and analysis with a focus on claims fraud
• Development, implementation and ongoing evolution of fraud models
• Building and monitoring claim related reports and metrics
• Liasing with the claims department to find new opporutnities to improve operational performance

Competencies Required

• Analytical and critical thinker with a curious mind
• Attention to detail
• Understand the underlying statistical theory used for model building (GLM and others)
• Programming skills in MS SQL, Oracle, Python, or R would be advantageous
• Agile and willing to change priorities as business needs change
• Able to work individually and in a team
