    Jr. Operations and IT manager

Disclaimer: This is a remote role and can be done from where it’s comfortable to work within Central European time

    About the role
We don’t believe in forcing someone into a specific job function so consider the following responsibilities - in order of importance - as a starting point:

    • You drive and deliver internal projects on our internal roadmap in close collaboration with the different internal stakeholders.
    • You align with different users in the business and truly empathize with their needs
    • You explore and assess different tools to assess which one best meets the requirements you specified
    • You own and support the roll-out of the tools and effectively communicate towards everyone involved
    • You own the full project management (setting project timeline, assigning and following up with owners, making sure milestones are hit, managing budget, resolving conflicts, etc)
    • You bring in outside support from subject matter experts where needed and build a network to learn from similar organizations.
    • You deliver simplicity and scalability in everything you do
    • You are the principal owner and internal point-of-contact for our tooling and IT set-up
    • You are the main administrator and point of contact for all subscription services and software used by the team
    • You assess the different tools our consultants experiment with on projects and take the lead in scaling up those that bring our approach to a new level
    • You rationalize our set of IT tools to fewer but more powerful tools
    • You work with/on People & Culture team to ensure successful on and offboarding
    • You are the point of contact for the team regarding tooling and you maintain good relationships with our suppliers
    • You ensure that our IT security policy is up-to-date and adopted in the team
    • You provide ad hoc support to strategic growth initiatives
    • You jump in when our People & Culture or Finance & Legal team are rethinking their workflows
    • You work together with different circle leads to develop more effective ways of working and to share those across the organization.

    Requirements

    • You are an excellent project manager. You make things run like clockwork: on time, on budget, on point.
    • You have superior communication skills and are able to communicate effectively across different cultures, in managing a diverse set of stakeholders to get a project to the finish line.
    • You have a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset; no task is too big or too small.
    • You “work out loud”, making your work-in-progress visible and receptive to constant feedback.
    • You are IT savvy and have relevant experience with setting up and administering different tooling platforms.
    • You have 2+ years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment in any of the following areas: start-up/consulting/IT - experience working in a remote organisation is a big plus.
    • You get a kick out of automating workflows and Zapier is your best friend.
    • You thrive in critical, highly visible projects, even when given a short timeline.
    • You care deeply about organizational effectiveness, always aiming for simple and scalable solutions
    • You are a hyper-logical thinker and you’re able to recommend strategic solutions.
