Junior Accountant at BKB Ltd

What We’re Looking For:

• A BCom degree in Accounting or Management Accounting with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets.
• Exceptional administrative skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and time management.
• High energy levels and the ability to perform under pressure.

Key Competencies:

• Solid knowledge of General Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Understanding of Internal Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Familiarity with budgeting processes, financial accounting, and treasury.
• Experience with computerized financial systems (Syspro is a advantageous).
• Decisive insight and analytical thinking.
• Methodical and detail-oriented mindset.

Your Responsibilities:

• Execute monthly financial reporting and statutory returns (VAT, TAX).
• Analyse data and compile statistical reports.
• Oversee general administrative processes and accounting transaction processing.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure legal compliance.
• Manage inventory control, maintain asset registers, and update supplier agreements annually.
• Collect rebates, manage margins per pack size, and apply CP changes.
