Job Description

• Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Bovine Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will support laboratory operations related to cattle analysis and assist with accurate data handling and administrative tasks within the agricultural sector.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Relevant qualification: B-AGRIC / BSc in Science, Genetics, Forensics, or related field
• 3–5 years’ relevant work experience (preferred)

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Sound knowledge of cattle farming practices
• Strong numerical accuracy and counting abilities
• High level of attention to detail
• Good administrative and record-keeping skills
• Above-average communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
• Ability to work effectively within the agriculture environment

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory testing and analysis related to bovine samples
• Maintain accurate records and data capturing
• Assist with sample handling, processing, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with laboratory and safety standards
• Support general administrative functions within the lab
