    Junior – Digital Copywriter

    Responsibilities:

    tailor the content and style of individual writing assignments according to their purpose - whether they are intended to sell or inform understand your target audience - you're not writing for the client, you're writing for their readers, so you'll need to know what interests them identify key messages - understand the main thing that you want the reader to feel and do and how to communicate this powerfully work with creative teams to ensure that the visual elements of the webpage complement the words research your client's industry and their audience identify fresh and interesting angles for your articles write for webpages, blogs and potentially for social media, e-books, slogans, and video script edit your own and others' writing provide other digital content, such as images and video, if required input your content to the client's content management software (CMS), if required work with your team to review the impact of your work assist with business pitches to win new clients or projects.

     

    Requirements:

    • Proven work experience as a digital copywriter - 3 years minimum – agency experience
    • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
    • Excellent verbal communication skills
    • Excellent writing skills (Must be proficient in English. One or more additional local official languages is preferrable)
    • Hands on experience with social media content development
    • Ability to draft engaging online content that leads to increase in KPIs
    • Quick-turnaround copy when needed for tactical social media
    • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels (social media, display, website, SEO etc not negotiable)
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
    • The ability to collaborate in a creative team, take direction, provide copywriting solutions / proactive ideas not limited to a brief

     

    Pre-Application Criteria:

    • MUST have minimum 3 years agency experience in digital as a copywriter
    • MUST have portfolio of proof of work
