JOB DESCRIPTION

• To perform economic research and analytics that will provide commercial value-generating business insights to Personal & Private Banking, Business & Commercial Clients, Product and Provincial stakeholders across South Africa and Africa Regions.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum qualification

• Masters in Economics

Experience

• For the Junior Economist: 3 - 5  years’ experience in customer, market and economic research. Industry and economics research within corporate banking. Macroeconomic research.  Able to highlight exceptions and recommendations based on economic analysis, for consideration and further consumption.
• For the Economist: 5 - 7 years’ experience in customer, market and economic research. Industry and economics research within corporate banking. Macroeconomic research.  Able to highlight exceptions and recommendations based on economic analysis, for consideration and further consumption.
