This job entails conducting Basic Assessments and Environmental Impact Assessments and all associated public participation processes.
Conducting audits on Environmental Authorizations and (Integrated) Water Use Licenses as well as Environmental Control Officer duties as needed.
The job involves compiling technical reports (as part of (Integrated) Water Use License Applications and other applications for licenses/authorizations).
The job will require the candidate to liaise with relevant authorities and go to various sites for environmental site inspections.
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of South African environmental legislation and be able to apply it in the workplace.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
BSC Environmental Science or Management, or any other suitable qualification to be able to register as an Environmental Assessment Practitioner with EAPASA.
