Junior Finance Administrator at Salt South Africa

Overview:

• An opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the finance team with day-to-day accounting and administrative duties while gaining practical exposure to financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with processing invoices, receipts, payments, and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting systems.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Support supplier and customer account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
• Assist with bank/ ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure financial documentation is accurately filed and maintained.
• Support audit preparation and general finance administration.

Requirements:

• Studying towards or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, Administration, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, basic formulas), Word, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage or Xero and Monday.com is advantageous.
• Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn.
