Evolution Group is a 16 year old global lifestyle company that designs, manufactures, distributes and markets international brands under licences or own brands to over 36 countries.

We're looking for a Junior Graphic Designer / DTP Operator to join our team.

Qualifications:

 Matric

•  Graphic Design Degree

Requirements:

•  Portfolio that showcases individual design aesthetic
•  Relevant Graphic Design or equivalent skills
•  Strong understanding of design principles
•  Experience in design software - Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign
•  Experience in Powerpoint, Photography and Social Media (Advantage)

Responsibilities Include:

•  Managing more than one design brief at a time
•  Strong graphic design capabilities
•  Ability to create print ready artwork
•  Image editing and retouching skills required
•  Passion and enthusiasm for design and creative flair
•  Interpreting briefs and developing concepts to suit their purpose
•  Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
•  Ability to work under pressure
•  Gathering information and data through research
•  Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
•  Understanding of digital design principles
•  Keen eye for detail
•  Flexibility to work on a wide and varied portfolio of products
•  Proactive and innovative thinking to create new ideas and concepts
•  Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief

This role will report to the Head of Creative, and will work closely with in-house marketing, research, sales and development teams.
