Job description
To support in ensuring that production processes are in line with the Global Unit Measure (GUM) standard to measure company productivity and efficiencies thereby ensuring competitiveness of the organisation.
To support in analysing equipment to ensure specific performance and optimum utilization.
To conduct time studies on all processes and equipment to increase efficiencies.
To assist with facilities design to optimise processes.
To assist in mapping out current operational process and recommend best optimum process design.
To establish new process design from customer base information.
Minimum requirements
Grade 12/NQF Level 4 (Essential)
National Diploma in Industrial engineering (Essential)
B. Tech in industrial Engineering (Desirable)
1 Year experience in conducting Time Studies on various operations/Industries (Essential)
At least 1-year experience in Facilities layout/design (Essential)
2 Years working experience in the use of Quality Core tools (i.e. FMEA, control plans; APQP) (Desirable)
