Junior Production Planner Engineer - Isando at DSM-Firmenich

Your key responsibilities

• Preparing the daily production program in accordance with quality requirements, using the PCS system, and ensuring control of the production process through the PCS system. Arranging the parameters defined in the PCS system in accordance with the physical needs of production.
• Ensure that the production order plan is completed on time in accordance with the prepared program.
• Ensure that production and order management is properly executed within our standards for SHE, engineering, warehouse & dispatching.
• Production Planning
• Manage accurate and responsive forecasting and precise scheduling of premixes in the plant by species group.
• Manage the scheduling and timeliness of the production process to ensure the company meets all lead times.
• Manage material availability daily in production ,scheduling production in the PCS system and monitoring the production process for problems in conjunction with the control room supervisor and warehouse.
• Manage stock transfers to production on SAP as required for scheduling with the warehouse team.
• Communicate  daily on SAP  orders , update production status of planned scheduling ,share updates  and confirm process orders as completed on SAP
• Update  Purchasing , CSA Team, Key Account Managers ,Quality and Warehouse daily on changes to the daily, weekly schedule.
• Organizing re-packaging and re-manufacturing operations, making calculations and SAP transactions related to these, and monitoring the physical realization of these operations.
• Work in coordination with the Warehouse & Shipping Manager to ensure that the daily production schedule and shipping schedule are compatible.
• Work in coordination with the Sales Department to ensure that the daily production program is compatible with customer demands.
• Notify the Production or Maintenance Chiefs and take responsible and necessary actions if any nonconformity or malfunction is detected in the production equipment.
• Ensure that the stocks seen in SAP records and physically existing stocks are carried out in harmony with each other.
• Manage any unusual situation in the production process or equipment.
• Monitor the stocks of slow moving raw materials and finished products
• Check batch reports daily and notifying the QA responsible when production deviations occur, recording and reporting
• Carry out activities in Operations team in order to ensure that DSM personnel and contractors are effectively performing their responsibilities in accordance with the disciplinary rules and decide for the necessary resources and report to the plant manager. Evaluate the performance of the personnel and report to the human resources department and Sub-Regional Manager.
• Ensure that local laws and regulations concerning SHE topics about production plant are followed.
• Ensure that environmental measurements (noise, dust concentration, lighting level, air flow etc.) are carried out within the framework of global and local legal requirements in production and warehouse areas and ensure corrective actions are taken in accordance with the global and local legal limits within the scope of measurement results. To work in coordination with the Human Resources Department to ensure that the personnel working in the production and warehouse use appropriate PPEs (personal protective equipment) and clothing to their work and to check that the personnel use these PPEs.
• Being in communication with DSM SHE management personnel, attend meetings, prepare related reports and execute corrective and improvement activities.
• Support any SHE reports
• Manage and report accidents, incidents and near misses
• To acknowledge and strictly follow DSM Clear Desk Policy, preserving the security of the information and protecting DSM interests
• In case of any problem about process control system or production equipments, get in contact with the supplier and make necessary organization to solve the problem.
• In coordination with the plant manaqgement, plan and organize maintenance activities about all part of the plant
• Ensure that security control system is functioning properly
• Plan and perform trainings for the operations staff
• Function as an IT contact person about related topics
• Back-up and deputy in case of Plant Manager’s absence

You bring

• Minimum 2 year experienced
• University degree in Agriculture, food and feed production Engineering
• Fluent in English.
• Technical knowledge
