Junior Project Manager (Wassen International) (Northern Suburbs (Cape)) at Vital Health Foods

Description

A Junior Project Manager is sought to provide coordination assistance to the Wassen International team and help ensure the flawless execution of projects. You will be expected to develop project plans from scope to execution including project updates, deadlines, administration approvals and scope creep to ensure that deliverables are met.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with project role players to assess the feasibility of identified NPD projects, as well as existing business improvement projects.
• Engage with stakeholders and coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects.
• Define objectives and develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. 
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, and within the scope, objective, and budget.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs, and report to management as needed.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
• Meet budgetary objectives and made adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
• Create and maintain project administration at all times, ensuring that all project information and documentation is up to date, accurate, complete, and readily accessible.
• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal teams, customers, and all key Project Stakeholders.
• Schedule and organize regular project meetings, as required, and ensure minutes are circulated and action items followed up.

Under the guidance of the Supply Chain Manager, develop knowledge and understanding of the full supply chain in order to assist with day-to-day planning functions.

Requirements

• Project Management certificate, coupled with at least 3 years relevant experience
• BCom degree will be advantageous.
• Experience in Supply or E-commerce exposure will be advantageous.
