Junior Site Manager at Profile Personnel

Job Description

• A well-established retail operation in Qonce is seeking a Junior Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy retail site. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager or Supervisor within the retail environment who is ready to take the next step into a management role.
• The successful candidate will receive the necessary support and training to take full responsibility for the site and ensure smooth, efficient and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily administration and operational management of the site.
• Manage staff including recruitment, rosters, performance, discipline and employee welfare.
• Drive and monitor fuel and retail sales and overall profitability.
• Manage stock control, including ordering, merchandising, shrinkage and wastage.
• Ensure daily sales are accurately accounted for and securely banked.
• Maintain and manage site assets, equipment and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with company, franchise, statutory and legal requirements.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer queries or complaints.
• Complete and submit required daily, weekly, monthly and incident reports.
• Ensure the site operates efficiently and consistently meets required standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail environment, ideally in an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong people management and leadership abilities.
• Experience with stock, cash, sales and operational controls.
• Good understanding of retail administration and compliance.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take ownership and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
