As The Successful Candidate, You Will

• Develop, deploy and maintain applications using SAAS, IAAS, PAAS frameworks.
• Integrate new systems with existing client applications, systems and IT / OT infrastructure
• Prepare relevant user and technical documentation
• Participate in integration activities between layer 1 and 2 control systems and digital solutions
• Support control, instrumentation and automation projects as required
• Test, troubleshoot and debug applications. Resolve software defects or issues reported by the end-users in a timely manner.

You Bring To The Role

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering (Light Current or Equivalent); Master’s degree preferred
• Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering (Light Current or Equivalent) or Information Technology (Science / Engineering Stream)
• Up to 3 years industrial or commercial application development experience
• Solid mathematics and algorithm development background
• Ability to write well structured, maintainable code including database communications and user interfaces
• Knowledge of cloud services such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, SCADA systems would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Operational and Production Systems (MES/MOM); EAM; IT/OT Integration; Analytics; Optimisation/Simulation; Operations Research; Autonomous and Automation; Historian Systems or Business Intelligence Systems will be an advantage
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders from different parts of the world
