    Key Account Manager - Midrand, JHB

    Requirements
    Job Description

    • Deliver amazing customer experiences and delight our clients
    • Continuously build on relationships with clients by proposing solutions that meet their objectives
    • Own Client Relationships - develop strategies to build strong relationships with clients who are critical to the organisation and work to maintain these relationships (work to be top of mind when the client has a business need)
    • Work closely with the internal team to nail the client’s brief On Time, In Full, With no Errors
    • Diplomatically solve problems when the need arises, out of the box problem solver
    • Serve as the communication link between key customers and internal teams
    • Ensure Service Delivery on every project that runs through the business
    • Pitching and presenting to clients on a regular basis
    • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews
    • Align with business strategy to achieve increase in sales growth on key accounts and an increase in market share through New Business Development
    • Negotiating Trade Terms & SLAs and adhere to them
    • Research; analyse; assess and determine the correct course of action to be taken to achieve business targets
    • Manage; inspire; energise; motivate and develop a team of Account Managers in order to meet sales targets and business objectives
    • Identify opportunities for growth, qualify them, lead the business through the opportunity, and quantify it (the opportunity)
    • Achieve set targets and KPIs
    • Travel nationally to meet customers as and when required

    Qualifications ; Skills and Experience

    • Degree/Tertiary Education in Sales & Marketing / Business studies
    • 5-7 years Key Account Management experience (within the BLT industry would be advantageous)
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
    • 5 years experience leading a team
    • Proven track record in Customer Relationship Management
    • At least 5 years B2B sales experience
    • Must have at least 5 years solid experience presenting to clients
    • Problem solving and Negotiation Skills
    • Demonstrates sound business acumen
    • Computer-Literate (G Suite and MS Office proficient)

    • Team player: The ability to work in Cross Functional Teams in which work collectively to bring out the betterment of all
    • Accountability: Must demonstrate 100% ownership for the wins and the fails using both as learning opportunities and see projects through to completion
    • Outcome orientated, rather than output orientated
