Lab Supervisor at Oza Holdings

Job Purpose: 

• To ensure the effectiveness of day-to-day Lab Operations.  Monitor and control of QMS and provide adequate support to the plant through analysis of processes and support of H&S systems.

Key Responsibilities: 

Health & Safety:

• Compliance with all EH & S guidelines and procedures and Quality Management System requirements 

Key Tasks

• Ensure raw material verification, in-process, and final product samples
• Responsible for arrangement and planning of shift work and overtime control
• Maintain, control, and ensure correct quality and quantity product.
• Maintain and update work instruction,
• Maintain quailty mangement systems
• Update Quality reports
• Training and ensuring competency of personnel
• Work according to Integrated (Environmental, Safety and Quality) Management System requirements.
• Housekeeping

Other:

• Perform any other related duties in the interest of CEMZA as instructed.
• Work according to Integrated (Environmental and Quality) Management System requirements.
• Work according to Instructions / Procedures as pertaining to his/her operation function as assigned and abide by all legal (laws/by-laws) requirements / Company Policies and Practices

Qualification & Experience: 

• National Diploma Analytical Chemistry
• 2 – 4 Years Experience
• Quality Control/Laboratory experience
• Familiar with Quality Management System
• Experience in highly sophisticated computer driven instruments.
• Ability to handle high volume workload and meet tight deadlines
