Laboratory Analyst - HPLC at Mayfly Agri (Pty) Ltd

• An established agrochemical manufacturer is seeking a dynamic Laboratory Analyst to assist with the analyses of finished products at their production facility, based in Benoni.

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have a relevant tertiary qualification in Analytical Chemistry or similar
• Solid hands-on experience with HPLC is extremely essential
• Must be able to work independently and produce professional reports, effectively relaying results
• Good communication and written skills are important

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Analyzing products using HPLC instruments and performing physical chemistry checks.
• Compiling storage stability or other study reports as required and researching necessary information.
• Maintaining lab instruments.
• Managing housekeeping duties, including compiling and filing sample paperwork.
• Assisting with ISO 17025 and other accreditation procedures.
• Receiving samples and labelling them for identification.
• Developing formulations.
• Preparing samples.
• Assisting in the manufacturing plant when needed.
• Assisting with other relevant tasks as required by management.
• Being assigned as the 16.2 responsible person for the storage of dangerous goods, with training provided.
