Perform requirements gathering and analysis using:
analytical techniques, interview techniques, data gathering techniques, current system documentation, business modelling methods, business process, rules and logic and data gathering.
Use information gathered to convert into solutions to solve complex issues, development of implementation plans, development of requirements specifications.
To perform gap analysis and create Business requirement documentation based on the results of the analysis.
Create business presentations.
Design new processes by analysing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
Communicate effectively in both verbal and written (requirements and design specifications) form, as well as have an overall ability to be clear and concise in all communications.
Accurately determine, assign, track and manage project tasks, activity, documentation, time information per project standards.
Accurately assess the risks associated with each solution element.
Effectively manage multiple priorities.
Create user requirements, and articulate user stories.
Define software configuration specifications.
Improves systems by studying current practices, designing modifications.
Recommends controls by identifying problems, writing improved procedures.
Create support and process documents.

KEY COMPETENCIES
Leading, coordinating and defining business processes and how they interact with client’s corporate systems by researching, analysing and documenting existing and desired system and business requirements

Thorough working knowledge of the SDLC models/methodologies, IT systems and their direct implementation to projects.

Experience in data gathering and facilitation techniques (i.e. meetings and JAD sessions).
Experience with requirements management, use case and modelling tools.
Experience with applying and general knowledge of various analysis and gathering approaches, methodologies and models.
Demonstrated leadership and attention to detail skills through prior experience at the strategic and tactical/implementation levels.
Communicate plan, progress, and issues in a timely manner
Ensures tasks are prioritised appropriately and completed timeously.
Proposes and executes solutions to problems encountered.
Uses initiative to find ways of adding value to Nexio without waiting for instructions from management.
Uses past experience and initiative to implement improvement strategies to service tower.
Assists in developing checklists to monitor health and remediate issues experienced by systems and tools used by team.
Assists in developing standard operating procedures for the operational tasks of the team.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in a complex services environment
Must be an effective communicator
Knows how to ‘get things done’ with professionalism
Has knowledge of complex IT Service Management environments understand and analyse the data produced by the different systems.
ITIL Foundation Certificate
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
