Description

• Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager and/or Engineering Manager, develops and checks system design and drawings in conformance with project specifications, scope of work, design parameters, codes, and industry practices.
• Review project specifications, administrative and technical practices, design instructions, flow diagrams, and supplier information.
• Performs manual/computer layouts using process specifications, standard drawings, design instructions, plot plan, flow diagrams and supplier information.
• Communicates and interface with other project design and engineering disciplines.
• Complete and revise manual/computer drawings.
• Check, back check, and correct manual/computer results.
• Review and comment on other departments' design drawings and supplier equipment drawings.
• Update project master documents/drawings.
• Report Document and Activity progress.
• On assignment to the field, support other Engineers in their activities
• Typically the following list of drawings and documents are produced
• Block Flow Diagram (BFD).
• Process Flow Diagram (PFD).
• Piping and Instrument Diagram (P&ID).
• Process Description
• Control Philosophy
• Pressure Relieving systems
• Equipment Datasheets
• Instrument Datasheets

Experience:

• 8– 10 years experience in Design Engineering Environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum - B.Eng / BSc.Eng in Chemical Engineering (Not negotiable)  
• Pr.Eng.
