    Lead Sourcing Specialist – Industry Energy Technology

    • As the Lead Sourcing Specialist – Commodity Management, you will negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. Positions requiring thorough understanding and application of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context.

    As a Lead Sourcing Specialist – Commodity Management, you will be responsible for: 

    • Own both the direct material and indirect material spend for the Divigraph business unit
    • In partnership with Sourcing Leadership, Manufacturing, and Engineering, define the Divigraph supplier strategy, including management and optimization of supplier commodities. 
    • Leading negotiations, awarding business, and achieving annual cost reduction goals.
    • Negotiating terms and conditions and transmitting information to internal end-users and Purchasing team at Divigraph.
    • Be the escalation point for supply and material shortages.
    • Supplier risk reduction through the development of new and secondary backup suppliers.
    • Commercial sourcing management such as supplier data analysis, data cleanup, etc. This may also include occasional purchasing activities. 
    • Support compliance through education and enforcement of Baker Hughes Sourcing & Procurement policies.
    • Maintaining and updating Sourcing related policies as needed.
    • Contributing to projects as a team member or leading projects to achieve business goals.
    • Resolving supplier related problems including payments, pay-terms, quality & delivery performance, etc.
    • Developing Sourcing initiatives for cost out program, deflation, cycle reduction, BCC Sourcing and cash flow improvement (e.g. rebate, payment terms)
    • Leveraging S&OP data to match and optimize supplier capacity with business goals

     

    To be successful in this role you will:

    • Have a college degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, or Engineering
    • Have at least 5 years’ experience of mid to senior level experience within sourcing, procurement, or supply chain functions
    • Have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as established interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Have experience with SAP and SAP Ariba
    • Have prior work history in the electronics or oil & gas industry
    • Work onsite and with a schedule consistent with the Divigraph plant’s operating schedule
    • Be fluent in English both oral and written
