Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing effective and efficient administrative and logistical support to the Project Manager, as well as the department  
• Coordinating functions, projects and programmes that support the DA as a learning organisation
• Ensuring effective communication between the department and all its stakeholders
• Ensuring effective record-keeping and reporting of department activities
•  Responding to internal and external queries
• Overall, supporting the department in reaching all of its objectives

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent 
• Two years’ experience in an administrative role
• Project management experience (advantageous)
• Basic financial management experience (advantageous)
• Valid driver’s licence
• Access to a vehicle for occasional business related use (advantageous)
• Computer literacy, particularly MS Office suite
