Three (3) years of Community teaching experience in an institution of higher learning/ Five (5) years of professional work experience in the relevant field.
Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nurse Educator is compulsory.
Registration with SANC as a community health care nurse
Clinical midwifery practice experience.
DUTIES
The successful candidate will accept responsibility for teaching Primary Health Care/ Community Nursing theory and practice to undergraduate students.
To accompany students on community and environmental visits
To assess and control students' community Workbooks.
Co-supervision of undergraduate research projects.
