Lecturer: Marketing Management at Nelson Mandela University

CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

• To facilitate and administer the learning process for students in modules presented at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Conduct and publish research within the discipline of Marketing Management and contribute to community engagement in line with the core functions and values of the university.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• To facilitate the learning and teaching processes and outcomes of the department.
• To conduct, publish and supervise research.
• To perform administration work.

CORE COMPETENCIES

• Sound knowledge in the theory and application of Marketing Management principles
• Experience in facilitating learning and research at undergraduate levels.
• Ability to facilitate online learning and large classes.
• Evidence of Journal publication will be an added advantage

REQUIREMENTS
 
LECTURER (Post level 8)

• The potential candidate must have a relevant master’s degree in marketing.
• The candidate must have experience in lecturing at undergraduate level in the field of Marketing at University level
• The candidate must have the ability to manage large groups
• At least one-year relevant industry experience in the field of Marketing and Sales
• Preference will be given to candidates with specific knowledge in the areas of Marketing and Sales Management.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a record of a published academic journal article.
