Lecturer(Ref. 321): Department: Construction Management & Quantity Surveying
Master's degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management from an accredited institution or comparable institution.
Three (3) years of relevant teaching experience and/or professional construction experiencen employed in increasingly responsible management positions primarily in the South African construction or comparable industry.
Additional Recommendations:
A strong passion for teaching and research.
Ability to coordinate and manage courses effectively;
Good communication and lecturing skills; and
Proof of 3 years of relevant teaching experience in either the construction sector or consulting quantity surveying firm.
Quantities and documentation skills
An ability to develop a research profile in either digital construction or business management; and;
Commitment to the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion, and ability to contribute to the diversity of the Faculty community.
Summary of Duties:
Teaching and assessing at all levels.
Development of learning materials.
The successful candidate is expected to be actively involved in research in the department; and
