Lecturer(Ref. F108) : Department: Textile Science and Apparel Technology
Master’s Degree (within the discipline of apparel or related areas). Undergraduate studies must include apparel technology subjects.
A minimum of 3 years relevant teaching/ relevant apparel industry experience – eg in technology, manufacturing processes and/or business. (Teaching or training experience in relevant, Higher Education, industry or training institutions).
Sound knowledge of the technical aspects of apparel including but not limited to patternmaking, construction, quality, work study, production methods, and raw materials.

Summary of Duties:
Lecture in apparel product and process related subjects or where required as deemed necessary by the Head of Department
Preparation and delivery of lectures and practicals, and assessment of student work
Assist in the circulation and development of appropriate course material
Perform administrative duties assigned by the Head of Department
Participate in departmental life including community engagement and research
