KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teaching and Learning
- Teaching assigned classes according to the NWU teaching and learning strategies.
Research
- Research activities to be discussed with research programleader and director.
Community engagement
- Actively contribute to community engagement projects as part of the School of Accounting Sciences.
Minimum requirements

Lecturer
- An honours degree or Postgraduate Diploma (NQF Level 8) in Accountancy..
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in teaching Auditing.
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience in the field as an accountant is desirable.
- Registration with SAIPA/ACCA or SAICA as an AGA(SA).
Junior Lecturer:
- An honours degree or Postgraduate Diploma (NQF Level 8) in Accountancy.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in teaching Auditing.
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience in the field as an accountant Is desirable.
