Lifting Operator Trainer Contractor at SafetySA

Job Purpose

• To deliver high-quality, compliant Lifting training on-site, ensuring alignment with SAQA/SETA/NOSA standards. The trainer will manage learner assessments, maintain accurate records, and support client satisfaction through professional engagement and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery:

• Plan and deliver training aligned with approved curricula.
• Ensure readiness of training equipment and adapt delivery to learner needs.

Assessment & Moderation:

• Conduct assessments and moderation per SAQA/SETA/NOSA standards.
• Provide feedback and complete PoEs securely and accurately.

Administration & Reporting:

• Maintain learner records and compile training reports.
• Analyze training data and ensure QMS compliance.

Client Engagement:

• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Attend meetings, resolve queries, and promote NOSA training offerings.

Professional Development:

• Stay updated on SHE and ETD best practices.
• Maintain valid assessor/moderator registrations.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

• Matric or higher education
• TETA-accredited Facilitator and Assessor scope

Experience:

• 3+ years Lifting Training experience
• 5+ years industry experience

Skills & Knowledge:

• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of QMS
• Fluent in English and one other national language

Other Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License (Code 08 or 14) with PRDP
• Own reliable vehicle
