Lithography Web Offset Printer at Novus Holdings Ltd

Job Description

• Novus Print: Montague Gardens is currently seeking to permanently appoint an individual, with knowledge and experience in an FMCG printing environment to take on the role of a Lithography Web Offset Printer to operate machinery within the Press Department. The successful incumbent will report to the Shift Leader - Press.

Key Duties and Responsibilities    

• Responsible for preparation, running (printing of magazines and commercial work), fault finding of Web Offset printing presses.
• Colour and registration control of Web Offset printing presses.
• Operate the printing press at set production rates and standards.
• Preventative maintenance
• Maintain general health and safety standards in the production environment
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained

Educational Requirements    

• Matric or equivalent
• A relevant trade qualification In Lithography Web Offset or similar

Experience Requirements    

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience and expertise in a press web offset environment
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
