Job Description and Responsibilities

• Processing of invoices, debit notes and credit notes for goods and services
• Ensure documentation meets SARS requirements
• Ensure that Input VAT is claimed correctly
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies
• Analysing outstanding items
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Obtaining Approvals when required
• Verifying supplier banking details
• Request update of vendor master records
• Submitting Forecast information
• Meeting VOKUS month end and year end deadlines

Education and Experience

• Have a B.Com degree with Accounting 3 or a National Diploma with Accounting 3
• Have 2-3 years Accounts Payable experience in a Manufacturing concern

Skills, Attributes & Other requirements

• Knowledge of VWSA Application Systems, particularly (but not limited to) SAP (Financial Accounting, Logistics, Purchasing).
• Understanding of VWSA Purchasing, Receiving and Logistics processes.
• Be computer literate in MS Office and SAP
• Have the ability to communicate at all levels
• Be disciplined and be able to perform under pressure
• Have a high degree of accuracy
