Logistics Liaison Officer at Bidvest Panalpina Logistics

The incumbent should have experience in customer service, knowledge of imports, exports, road freight and port operations, inclusive of warehouse management systems and display the understanding of dangerous goods.
Qualifications & Experience 

•  Matric and relevant Supply Chain Qualification
•  3 years relatable experience
•  Advanced MS Office, CW1 or relevant WMS experience (SAP System, JDE etc.), Navis, Vehicle Tracking Systems
•  Drivers License

Key Responsibilities

•  Adhere to and manage SLA's for internal and external clients and service providers to ensure that all KPI's are met
•  Provide input on SLA reviews as and when required
•  Assist with the preparation of clients and service providers KPI reports at the end of each month to show the customers how the facility performed against the SLA
•  Job Observation; take one work instruction and observe the planning and operational teams to ensure compliance against client specific work instructions
•  Maintain records of on the job observation sheet then file in the job observation file
•  Provide regular updates to management, planning, service providers and the clients as per the agreed times
•  Manage and update tracking reports
•  Ensure that all customer queries are addressed.
•  Ensure that stock is received and despatched on time for the dedicated client accounts
