A leading manufacturing organisation is seeking a sharp, resilient Logistics Supervisor to strengthen national distribution operations, with a primary focus on the Johannesburg hub and close operational interaction with the Cape Town warehouse.
This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing, warehousing, and third-party logistics. Success depends on the ability to work confidently with external service providers and internal stakeholders, and to maintain service levels, data accuracy, and process discipline, while building strong operational relationships.
Reporting to the National Logistics Manager, with a dotted-line relationship to the Cape Regional Manager, you will support depot performance, standardise administrative processes, analyse logistics data, and resolve operational issues decisively. The environment is fast-paced and demanding, requiring someone who can manage conflict professionally, hold their ground when needed, and translate data into actionable operations.
This opportunity is well-suited to a high-potential logistics professional or a top-performing graduate who combines analytical strength with real-world execution.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 with a relevant tertiary qualification preferred (Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport, Economics; Honours/Masters highly advantageous)
2–3 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or manufacturing operations (strong graduates with practical capability will be considered)
Advanced Excel skills with proven ability to analyse, manipulate, and present data
Experience working with third-party service providers and internal operational teams
Strong communication, conflict-management, and stakeholder-engagement capability
Ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and drive solutions through to completion
