Job Description

• We currently have the above position available internally at our printing facility and wish to invite all suitably qualified applicants to submit their details for our consideration.

Key responsibilities, not limited to:

• Facilitate make-ready, colour match, run and wash up as per specification(s).
• Ensure all production and quality checks are carried out.
• Run the machine to the specified speed or above to achieve productivity and efficiency.
• Responsible for achieving production targets as per the production plan.   
• Complete all admin such as timesheets, RTS and Transfers
• Carry out all quality checks before production commences
• Run to all standard operating procedures
• Responsible for safety and housekeeping at the machine area
• Ensure department is fully compliant with BRC requirements 

To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12/ relevant Trade Certificate (Roto-Flexo)
• Minimum 3 years in a Production environment
• 1-3 years within Flexible Packaging environment (Printing department)
• Physical ability to operate printing machine, lift raw materials and finished product.
• Willing to work shifts 
• Good numeracy and literacy acumen 
• Good written and verbal skills 
• Attention to detail 
• Good visual perception and colour vision
• Good problem-solving, planning and organising skills
• Enthusiastic and eager team-player
