Machine Operator - Guillotine at Freedom Stationery (Pty) LTD

Key Responsibilities

• Operate guillotine cutting machines safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret job specifications and cutting instructions
• Measure and cut materials accurately to required sizes
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Report machine faults or production issues promptly
• Work closely with the production and finishing teams to meet deadlines

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a guillotine machine preferred
• Ability to read measurements and use cutting tools accurately
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in a production environment
• Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
