Maintenance Planner (Port Elizabeth) at Aspen Pharma Group

Description

• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure work is properly prepared, scheduled and executed safely and efficiently, while supporting equipment reliability and minimising production downtime

Requirements
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain preventative and corrective maintenance plans.
• Create detailed job plans, including labour, materials, spares and other resources required.
• Manage maintenance notifications, work orders and maintenance backlogs.
• Coordinate maintenance requirements with Production, Engineering and Maintenance teams.
• Plan shutdown maintenance and statutory inspections and ensure activities are ready for scheduling.
• Analyse equipment breakdowns, maintenance trends and costs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate equipment registers, maintenance history, PPM schedules and SAP PM records.
• Monitor maintenance performance and provide accurate reports and recommendations to management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualification:

• Grade 12/Matric
• N4 - N6 or equivalent in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
• Trade tested Fitter/ Electrical/ Millwright

Experience:

• 2 - 3 years Pharmaceutical manufacturing maintenance experience
• Good knowledge of maintenance processes and pharmaceutical manufacturing/ packaging requirements and SAP PM Maintenance experience
