Revit Electrical BIM Technician at RPO Recruitment

Job Description

• Bring your electrical draughting expertise to a Revit Electrical BIM Technician role supporting electrical services projects for a renowned consulting firm.
• You will produce Revit and CAD drawings, assist with design and modelling, and collaborate with consultants, supply authorities and internal teams.
• The role also includes attending project meetings and conducting site inspections.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience using Revit.
• Previous electrical draughting experience is essential.
• Willingness to travel overseas and to remote locations within South Africa and Africa, as required by projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical services draughting using Revit and CAD.
• Assist with electrical services design and modelling.
• Attend site, coordination, design and other project meetings as required.
• Conduct site inspections.
• Liaise with relevant supply authorities.
• Coordinate and communicate with other consultants and internal project teams.
• Maintain a high standard of service delivery in line with industry best practice.
• Compile information and reports relating to project duties when required.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, suppliers and other industry stakeholders.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and administrative requirements, including weekly timesheet submissions.
