Introduction

• An exciting opportunity as DC Reach Truck Driver has become available at New Clicks SA (Pty) Ltd. The role will be based in Mahogany Ridge DC and will report to the DC Supervisor.

Job description

Putaways 

• To retrieve the correct pallet from the correct receiving door
• To stage the pallet in the correct drop point
• To put away (slot) the pallet in the correct slot location (pick and/or reserve slot)

 Letdowns / Smoves

• To retrieve the correct stock and quantities from the correct reserve slots.
• To retrieve the correct stock and quantities from the correct Cantilevers.
• To drop the let-down stock in the correct pick slots or drop points.

Housekeeping 

• To ensure everyone’s safety.
• To reduce illnesses and injuries.
• To promote positive behaviours, habits and attitudes.
• To ensure general cleanliness at all times.
• To have pride in our work place.

Minimum requirements

• Valid Reach Truck operator certification/license.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating Reach Truck, preferably in FMCG or warehouse environments.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols and health regulations.
• Ability to read and understand labels, dispatch documents.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift/move heavy loads when required.
• Must have Matric /Grade 12
• Clean criminal record
