    Maintenance Breakdown Engineer

    Overview:

    • Join our family-owned company as a Maintenance Malfunction or Breakdown Engineer in Almere, Netherlands. You'll tackle hands-on troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, and machinery adjustments to keep our 20 unique production lines running at peak efficiency. Work closely with a small, skilled team under the Team Leader of Corrective Maintenance, contributing to the safety, quality, and optimal performance of our advanced machine park.
    • Background:Skilled in both mechanical and electrical systems, ideally with Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering experience. Basic PLC/ SCADA experience & Knowledge on Siemens S7.
    • Qualifications: Red Seal trade tested certification (Electrical/Mechanical), e.g., Millwright or Electrician.
    • Experience: Solid1-3 years in technical roles (Maintenance Engineer, Work Planner) in dairy, manufacturing, or packaging. Strong troubleshooting abilities
    • Languages: Fluent in Dutch or Afrikaans and English
    • Flexibility: Open to a 5-shift rotation schedule.

     What Will You Do?

    • Serve as a technical expert in hands-on malfunction resolution, maintenance, repairs, modifications, and adjustments to ensure peak machinery performance.
    • Collaborate with production staff to identify malfunctions' root causes and continuously improve machine efficiency and safety.
    • Supervise contractor work as needed, ensuring all activities meet quality standards.
    • Work within a small, dedicated team of 17, reporting to the Team Leader of Corrective Maintenance.
    • Operate in a 5-shift rotation (morning, afternoon, night), including some weekends, to support continuous machine operation.
