Procurement, Management and control of the material, consumable, equipment & tool inventory of the Maintenance Department of an extremely busy Resort. To become part of a pro-active Maintenance Team. Duties will include but will not be limited to:
Maintenance of stores records in an electronic format (Computer)
Sourcing and procurement of inventory items for all maintenance related work & functions
Maintenance of optimum availability of inventory and tools to meet operational needs
Collection and return of inventory items as required
Storage, receiving and issuing of materials & tools and control thereof
Enforcement of Stores policies & procedures including the completion of registers and inventories
Keeping stores & workshop areas in a safe, clean & tidy state
Management and control of all departmental consumables including LP Gas
Performing minor maintenance work as directed
Interaction and communication with other Departments & Areas
Aid the Maintenance Manager through efficient management of the stores & inventory function
Providing feedback and communication to Management for further action
Position Requirements:
Previous Storekeeping / Stock control experience
Computer literacy essential
Experience in the operation of stock control systems a distinct advantage
Proven / measurable practical skills suited to the post
Specialized, relevant qualifications or ability
Some practical maintenance skills and or knowledge
Good interpersonal skills
Able to exercise control & not be bullied or pressurised
Valid Driver’s Licence (Essential – not negotiable)
