• A Private Corporate Game Lodge in Bela Bela is seeking an experienced and professional Management Couple to oversee the full operational management of a small exclusive lodge. This dynamic role requires a couple capable of covering lodge management, kitchen operations, and guiding responsibilities, ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest experience in a private bush environment.

REQUIREMENT:

• RSA ID and legal residence essential
• Previous experience in a 4 or 5-Star Game Lodge environment
• Relevant Guiding and Chef qualifications required
• Proven experience in lodge or hospitality management
• Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to manage a small team and maintain high operational standards
• Passion for hospitality, guest service, and the bush environment
• Driver’s License and own transport essential
• Unfortunately no dependents or pets permitted due to lodge location and operation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
GUIDE:

• Conduct guided game drives and bush experiences for guests
• Provide engaging and informative wildlife and bush interpretation
• Ensure guest safety during all guided activities
• Assist with guest hosting and create memorable bush experiences
• Maintain and care for guiding equipment and vehicles
• Ensure professional guiding standards are maintained at all times

CHEF:

• Plan and prepare high-quality meals for guests
• Manage the day-to-day kitchen operation
• Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, hygiene, and cleanliness
• Manage kitchen stock, ordering, and food requirements
• Cater for guest dietary requirements where required
• Ensure efficient and cost-effective kitchen operations

LODGE MANAGEMENT & SHARED RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the lodge
• Host guests and ensure a personalised, exceptional experience
• Coordinate staff and operational requirements
• Maintain high lodge and service standards
• Assist with general lodge duties as required
• Build strong relationships with guests and represent the lodge professionally

PACKAGE:

• R45,000 per month (combined salary)
• Live-in accommodation provided
