We’re looking for a Manager – Banking Supervision to lead an amazing team of analysts who play a key role in overseeing a portfolio of banks. Your strategic direction and leadership will guide them in ensuring that the financial industry operates smoothly, safely, and in line with regulatory standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead Like a Pro: Inspire and guide a team of analysts, helping them stay focused and motivated to meet their supervisory goals.
• Shape the Strategy: Work closely with divisional heads to develop and execute high-level strategies to achieve departmental objectives.
• Foster Growth: Manage and nurture talent within your team, helping them grow through learning, development, and effective succession planning.
• Stay on Top of Risks: Ensure compliance with all governance, risk management, and information policies, keeping everything running smoothly.
• Tackle Big Projects: Be a key contributor to special projects that shape the future of the organization!

What We’re Looking For:
Your Qualifications:

• A postgraduate qualification (NQF 8) in Economics, Risk Management, Banking, Finance, Accounting, or any relevant field.
• At least 8 years of experience in financial services or regulatory roles.
• A solid 2+ years of experience in managing teams (if you’ve already led teams, we’re going to love you!).

Bonus Points:

• Chartered Accountant (South Africa) or Associate General Accountant (South Africa) certification.

• A strong understanding of Basel Core Principles, financial regulations, and risk management.
