Manager: Cable Network Services at Telkom

Core Description    
Responsible for the management of the allocated functional area or section. The main job function is Network Field Operations which include Cable Network Services operational leadership and control, as well as tactical plans and coordination of the operational objectives and deliverables in support of the business plan.

The division is responsible for the maintenance of copper and optic fibre cables in the access and core network. To lead by motivating, developing, coaching and utilizing the human capital and other resources in alignment & support of the business objectives. To enhance performance, ensure quality of service and optimize the end to end process flow in order to ensure value to all business stakeholders and excellent customer service.

Qualifications    

• Relevant 3 year business/ engineering degree or diploma (at least NQF level 6)

Experience    

• 5 Years Operational experience, of which 2 years must be on supervisory level

Special Requirements    

• Valid driver's license.
• Able to work outside normal working hours.
• Able to travel and stay out overnight
